do they strive to heal to harm
Or perhaps to touch the unknown

Look to your chest and the heartbeat within it
The tangled emotions that make up a life
Stand still for a moment and turn your gaze inward
An answer awaits you now what do you feel.

Shattered and breaking or stronger than iron
Hide in the shadows or challenge the world
Fueled by a fire or  frozen in ice
Love or hate, joy or sorrow

Look in a mirror and into your eyes
The windows it's said to see into your soul
Take notice of what you read deep within them
Tell me the truth now what do you believe.

In yourself, your abilities,your gifts.
In gods and prophets or science and technology
In fate or free choice
Or perhaps in dreams and magic
